Monday's Tough Trivia ... A Day Late

Boy, that must hurt ...

Waterloo was a giant butt-beating for Napoleon. Many military historians consider the fact that Napoleon could not survey the field from horseback a primary cause of the defeat. What kept Napoleon from being on his horse?

Napoleon's hemorrhoids contributed to his defeat at Waterloo. Apparently his piles prevented him from surveying the battlefield on horseback. And, for want of a doughnut pillow, the kingdom was lost.

How embarrassing ... and yet it gives a little insight into why certain presidential documents and information are kept sealed for years!

Yet another great question from Scott at The Untimely Objection!

Waterloo - I was defeated, you won the war
Waterloo - Promise to love you for ever more
Waterloo - Couldn't escape if I wanted to
Waterloo - Knowing my fate is to be with you
Waterloo - Finally facing my Waterloo

Abba - Waterloo
