In Memory

In Memory Of My Father
1945/2005

Yesterday all my troubles seemed so far away
Now it looks as though they're here to stay
Oh I believe in Yesterday

Suddenly, I'm not half the man I used to be
There's a shadow hanging over me
Oh Yesterday came suddenly

  1. Ms. Thirtywhat,
I don't know you at all. I have been reading your blog for a while. I thoroughly enjoy it. I give you my deepest condolances in the loss of your father. I lost a brother over 10 years ago and I do know what you are going through. May God be with you and your family. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

I'm a new reader, but I just wanted to offer my condolences. I hope that you are able to find peace and understanding in the loss of your father. You are in my thoughts.

  4. It's late ... but I wanted to thank everyone for their kind words. Is it possible to still be numb a month after someone passes away? It's just so hard ... I dream about Dad ... but I can't see him in the dreams. It's frustrating ... and worrying ... and I keep thinking it will get better. In any case ... we all appreciate your thoughts and prayers.
