Flash Movie in a Comedy Genre Goes To ...
Maxwell's Silver Hammer
By Hot Diggety Demon Cartoons
Do you like the Beatles? Flash Animation? What about random acts of senseless violence? Hey, who doesn't! Well, check out Maxwell's Silver Hammer! It's the best flash animation since Jib-Jab.
If you're under thirty (or have lived in a spider hole for the last twenty or thirty years), let me give you some background info. Maxwell's Silver Hammer is Track 3 on the 1969 album, "Abbey Road," by the Beatles. Although (my ex-husband) absolutely hates this it, this animation is exactly what I imagined every time I listened to the song. Click here if you'd like to learn more details about the song itself.
Warning: - Maxwell's Silver Hammer contains humorous, graphic, animated images of blood and mayhem. If you don't like that sort of thing, don't bother clicking on the link. I'll be the first to admit that it's very dark humor. Hilarious if you're into it ... more than a little disturbing if you're not.
Let me put it to you this way, if you liked Jhonen Vasquez's "Johnny the Homicidal Maniac," then you'll definitely be on board for this. But if walking into Hot Topic makes you squeamish ... I'd avoid Max and click on this instead.
Oh ... one more thought. Usher any small children out of the room before you watch ... I'd rather not be responsible for anyone's future psychotherapy needs.
She gets all the credit for cluing us into
Maxwell's Silver Hammer.
You rock, chick!
Bang, bang, Maxwell's silver hammer
Came down upon his head
Clang, clang, Maxwell's silver hammer
Made sure that he was dead
