Avert Your Eyes ...

Okay, I'll admit it ... this all started because I was jealous of Jerome Prophet. I mean, almost everyone uses one of the standard blogspot templates. But JP ... man, he's got that custom graphic on the left ... his blog just looks cool.

So, I was at home last night, feeling sorry for myself, and thinking ... why haven't I done something with my blog? I could make my own graphics. Hell, I get paid for doing this type of thing. So ... I set off to explore the template layout and see what kind of damage I could do. Which, obviously, was quite a bit.

It now looks like a five year old has designed my blog with crayons, felt, and round-tip scissors ... and while I'm relatively sure everything will eventually look alright, for the moment I just need to stop and take a break.

I may throw my hands up and revert everything back to the default graphics ... but we'll see. I guess I'm just saying ... if you're someone who usually visits, have a good laugh and check back in a day or so. If you're new here ... be kind ... I'm not normally a tool. Well ... not this big of a tool.

Everything I do is wrong
What the hell was I thinking?
Phone keeps ringing all day long
I got no time for thinking
And every day has the same old way
Of giving me too much to do

It's like the vines on Wrigley field... but on a blog.

    I am such a "DUUHH.."

I am surprized I can breath sometimes. I can still post to non-Beta if I go the Anonymous route.

Thank you visiting my blog and yes you can put up a link to mine.LOL
I put one up for yours already...I hope it is okay!?

I think it looks like 4-leaf clovers. I like it. It would be nice to be able to design my own template...

but that is unlikely in the near future as I can not even figure out the one I have yet. LOLOL

  3. You have inspired me to redo my blog. Come see it when you get a chance.

  4. What frightens me is the change that Google is going to be implementing soon.

I've not studied it as closely as I should have, but it may lead to problems for us bloggers who have tinkered with our templates.

I'm not sure, but that's what I read into it.

And we won't have any choice in switching over either.

I'm already playing around with the BETA, and it's an improvement, still I don't want to have to completely redesign my blog - if I can avoid it.
