In a stunning turn of events today, Tom Cruise, Mayor Tim Davlin and Ward 2 Ald. Frank McNeil suggested that Springfield should consider dropping the required psychological test for firefighters and police candidates.
Cruise told SJ-R staff writer, Chris Wetterich, "Psychiatry is a pseudoscience. You don't know the history of psychiatry. I do." A short while later, he ended the interview after declaring, "Chris, Chris, Chris, Chris, Chris, Chris, you don't even -- you're glib."
Tim Davlin then hopped onto a couch, fell rapturously to one knee and repeatedly professed his love for Frank McNeil.
