A Round Of Applause ...

Let me be the first to congratulate Capitol Fax Blog ... the first ever Best Blogger in Springfield from the The Illinois Times 2006 Best of Springfield. Congrats also go out to Blogfree Springfield who was the runner up.

Both these blogs are very deserving ... Capitol Fax is a professional operation and a great looking blog to boot. And Blogfree Springfield? He's a favorite around here and this just gives him some well-deserved recognition.

So, way to go, guys!

    A little part of me always dies when I read the Illinois Times Best of Poll...

    I mean, seriously...best thrift shop is Goodwill?? And...you predicted it right... Best Italian Food- Olive garden (okay sure, they were runner up..but still)
