Super Bowl Rewind

If you missed any of yesterday's Super Bowl commercials, check out this link.

AOL offers each ad in order and sorted into the Quarter in which they appeared. Very cool.

And the ThirtyWhat Super Bowl Commercial VIP Award goes to ... Pepsi! For allowing me to watch Justin Timberlake get knocked in the head and repeatedly hit in the nuts all in one 30 second commercial. God, just thinking about it brings a tear to my eye.

It's the eye of the tiger
It's the thrill of the fight
Rising up to the challenge of our rival
And the last known survivor
Stalks his prey in the night
And he's watching us all in the eye of the tiger

Survivor - Eye Of The Tiger

Note: Why "Eye of the Tiger" you ask? In rememberance of a past commercial that kicked ass. Let's all thrust our fists into the air in honor of "ROY! ROY ROY ROY!"

I LOVED the "Roy" commercial from years ago. :P

But I don't seem to see your comments about the Wall-E trailer. Or any of the movie trailers. :P

Yahoo Sports rated their top 5 commercials.

    5) Pepsi - "Magnetic Attraction"

    4) Bud Light - "Will Ferrell"

    3) Tide to Go - "Screaming Stain"

    2) FedEx - "Pigeon Carriers"

    1) Audi - "The Godfather"

Okay...now COME ON. In what world does Audi's Godfather tribute beat the glorious beating of Justin Timberlake?

I actually didn't really remember the Godfather one, and had to watch it online. Now Pepsi's, on the other hand, I remember exactly. I even REWOUND the Tivo just so I could watch it again. THAT is a sign of a great commercial.

Besides, the car part in "The Godfather" looked hilariously fake. It wasn't funny, and it wasn't that great of a commercial.

And the Will Ferrell one wasn't funny either. I would have rather seen the "What is Love" commercial with Chris Kattan in it on that list instead of the Will Ferrell one. Heck, I would have rather seen a commercial with Mango and/or Azrael Abyss than that Will Ferrell commercial.

No wait...Azrael Abyss and Mango would have been awesome. If they can bring back "What is Love", then they can bring them back too!
